22 of 25 fast food chains nationwide got a failing grade on their antibiotic policies in a new report. This includes the iconic Cali based burger joint In-N-Out! This is not a great look for all these companies. The report says that the “overuse of antibiotics in livestock production significantly contributes to the spread of antibiotic resistance.” The World Health Organization, the US Food and Drug Administration and the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention consider antibiotic resistance a threat to public health.
