Good morning guys I’m a long time fan and need a little advice. So I’ve been dating my boyfriend for 8 months and we are about to move in together but that’s not why I’m writing you. I’m writing you because early on in our relationship his mom said to me in casual conversation that she really liked me with her son and was happy I didn’t have any tattoos because she finds them to be tasteless and gross. I didn’t have the heart to tell her at that moment that I do have a tattoo on the small of my back. I told my boyfriend what she said and he told me that she really hates tattoos but he doesn’t care what she thinks, he loves my tattoo and me. Well now the nice weather is here, and his mom planned a family vacation and there’s no way she won’t see my tattoo. My boyfriend keeps telling me not to worry about it, that she was a little drunk when she told me that and won’t remember. But I’m afraid that she’s going to see it and never talk to me again. What should I do? Should I tell her now or wait to see if it becomes a thing while we’re at the beach?
