Good morning guys I’m emailing you to get your opinion and the other listeners out there. So my roommate and I have lived together for a little over a year and don’t have a very business relationship. We don’t hang out socially and she works from home and I go to work every day. She dominates the apartment and sets up shop on the couch and I basically just stay in my room when I’m home. She now has a boyfriend and he’s around all the time and I feel uncomfortable in my own place. I think she’s trying to make me miserable so I will move out and her boyfriend can move in. Well I told my cousin about my roommate problems the other day and she told me she was looking for a roommate and asked if I’d move in with her. I jumped at the opportunity. I love my cousin and her apartment is bigger and the rent is the same. I can move in this week so I’m going to pack up when my roommates out and leave without telling her. I’m going to leave her rent for January but that’s it. Do you think she’ll even care? Do I owe her anything?
